Abstract:
This data set comprises the measurements of the G-band Radar for Water vapor and Arctic Clouds (GRaWAC) obtained during the intensive observation period IOP4H2O (Jan 25 – March 05, 2025) at AWIPEV station, Ny-Alesund, Svalbard. During this period, GRaWAC was installed on the observatory platform in close proximity of Ka- and W-band cloud radar and Microwave Radiometer. The data set includes radar spectra and moments at 167.3 and 174.7 GHz, as well as housekeeping files. In-cloud water vapor profiles can be retrieved using the Differential Absorption Radar technique with the software available in https://github.com/igmk/grawacpy/.

GRaWAC spectra are available in the spectra files. Moments of the spectra as well as 167-174 Dual Frequency Ratio is available in the lv1a files. Housekeeping information such as noise floor and instrument performance are available in the housekeep files.
