Abstract:
Dataset containing 183 carbonate clumped isotope aliquot measurements on shells of planktonic foraminifera species Trilobatus trilobus and Morozovella subbotinae divided across 18 samples from IODP Expedition 342 Sites U1405, U1406 and U1409. Aliquots were measured on 100 – 120 μg carbonate material from foraminifera tests in the 250-400 μm fraction. All clumped isotope measurements were carried out on a Thermo Scientific MAT 253Plus mass spectrometer coupled to a KIEL IV carbonate device at FARLAB, University of Bergen. The reported data includes sample IDs, date-/timestamp of the measurement, the initial sample and reference gas signal on the mass-to-charge =44 Faraday cup, as well as D49, d18O, d13C and D47 measurements for each aliquot.
