Abstract:
This file plots the age of pollen assemblage of baboon Lakes as pollen accumulation rate (PAR, grains/cm/yr) and percentage of the Upland Sum (%). Samples were processed at the University of Maine according to a modified protocol from Faegri et al. (1989). A known quantity of ceramic microspheres was added to enable us to calculate pollen accumulation rates (3.5 x 104 microspheres/cc). We counted the grains through Poly.Counter at 40x until 300 terrestrial grains were identified.
