Abstract:
The dataset was collected from 15 sediment cores along a transect spanning the Eastern Lower Bakırçay Plain, east of ancient Pergamon, in the Pergamon micro-region, Türkiye. The cores were sampled for charcoal (n = 11), gastropods (n = 5) and organic-rich bulk sediment samples (n = 3) in the field and at the Bergama excavation house in October 2023 and September 2024. Results of radiocarbon dating of samples taken from the cores are presented.
