Abstract:
This dataset provides continuous soil and weather station measurements from September 2023 to September 2025 in Kuup Ilua (Blæsedalen Valley) on Qeqertarsuaq (Disko Island), West Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland), collected as part of the MOMENT project (Permafrost Research Towards Integrated Observation and Modelling of the Methane Budget of Ecosystems). The data provide observations of temporally variable parameters that mitigate energy fluxes between permafrost and atmosphere, such as snow depth, snow dielectric number, snow temperature, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, wind speed and direction and radiation fluxes. Soil variables include temperature, soil heat flux, dielectric number, soil liquid volumetric water content and soil bulk electrical conductivity.
