Abstract:
This dataset comprises age determination for KNR197-10-44GGC, KNR158-4-09GGC and HU87003-7PC. The Tuned age model for this study was based on a tephra tie point and the correlation between 44GGC coarse fraction (%)/ice rafted detritus counts and the North Greenland Ice Core Project (NGRIP) Ca2+ with additional age constraints from 14C accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) dates on planktonic foraminifera from early Holocene. The Tuned age model was then transferred to KNR158-4-09GGC by correlating % Neogloboquadrina pachyderma while keeping the tephra tie point, and to HU87003-7PC by correlating Neogloboquadrina pachyderma d18O. Also included in the dataset is the reservoir ages estimated by combining the 14C dates with the Tuned ages from each of the three cores.

KNR197-10-44GGC age model (Age [ka b2k]) was constructed by correlating 44GGC % coarse fraction and ice rafted debris with NGRIP Ca2+ (GICC05 timescale; Rasmussen et al., 2006), with additional age constraints from a tephra tie point and 14C dates in the Holocene. The age model (Age [ka b2k]) was then transferred to KNR158-4-09GGC by correlating % Neogloboquadrina pachyderma and to HU87003-7PC by correlating Neogloboquadrina pachyderma d18O.
