Abstract:
The Eurasian Basin of the Arctic Ocean has a number of unique geological and geophysical properties compared to other young basins of the world ocean. Several long sediment cores were recovered here during the Polarstern expedition. Piston core PS1535-10 was recovered from the Fram strait.
