Abstract:
There are grain size data from cores SZ24 and SZ50 on the Taihu coast, East China. Core SZ24 is located at 120°32′18.46″E, 30°52′29.12″N, with an elevation of 1.61 m, while core SZ50 is located at 120°27′45.56″E, 30°40′51.61″N, with an elevation of 3.08 m. Elevations are reported relative to the 1985 National Vertical Datum. Grain-size analyses were conducted on all the samples in the core SZ24 and core SZ50 using a Mastersizer 3000, and mud content (grain size ≤ 63 μm) was subsequently calculated.
