Abstract:
This dataset contains data of nitrogen isotopic composition of coral skeleton-bound organic matter and oxygen isotopes form a micro-atoll coral cores collected on the reef flat of Mba Island, in the Lagoon of New Caledonia. The coral core was sampled near a seabird breading site and is exposed to seabird-derived nutrients. The dataset further includes groundwater nitrate concentrations and isotopic composition from a 1.5 year long groundwater monitoring, as well as seawater nitrate concentration and isotopic composition of 2 seasonal suveys along a seawater transect.
