Abstract:
What: This table contains all low resolution data accompanying Schmidhauser et al., 2026 in prep. The data contains sequentially extracted fractions of P, Fe and Mn, Pigment measurements, pollen and CNS data on a 1-cm resolution. Pigment data includes both photopigments (e.g. Chl-a etc.) and carotenoid biomarkers (e.g. Alloxanthin).
When: The age spans 17 ka BP - 11 ka BP; The age - depth relationship is establish by bayesian modeling of 9 14C dates, 1 tephra and 5 biostratigraphical markers; data were attained between October 2023-June 2024.
Where: All analytical data were attained from a sediment core taken in Übeschisee (46°44′ 04'' N, 07°33′ 54'' E, 641 m.a.s.l.); a shallow (17.7 m deep) kettle hole lake on the Swiss plateau. Context of the findings is Swiss plateau & Central Alpine Europe.
The data was collected to get a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between, algal communities, anoxia, temperature and total trophic productivity. Data was collected from UBE22-1e, Measured using ICP-MS and HPLC-DAD.
