Abstract:
This dataset contains planktonic and benthic foraminiferal census data and derived paleoenvironmental indices across the Paleocene–Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) at the El Dababiya GSSP, Egypt. Data include raw planktonic counts, benthic relative abundances, diversity indices, oxygenation proxies, and estimated paleodepths for 83 samples. The dataset covers the PETM carbon isotope excursion and associated extinction and recovery interval.
