Abstract:
This dataset comprises Pleiades satellite image derived snow depth (SD) measurements collected in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Spain, in March 2024. Data are provided in a 2 m spatial grid, divided into five datasets of equal size. The vertical accuracy varies depending on the measurement technique; for Pleiades satellite images, the vertical resolution is approximately 0.67 m. Data quality control involved the removal of all NoData values and SD measurements outside the physical range [0, 6] m. The dataset presented here corresponds specifically to the Hoya de la Mora sector and was acquired by Pleiades satellite.
