Abstract:
Grain size was analyzed at 10 cm intervals throughout core NBP20-02 KC72, with each sample spanning a 2 cm interval. Samples were analyzed with a Bettersizer S3 laser particle analyzer at the Department of Geological Sciences of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (U.S.A.). Three analyses were run for each sample and averaged; grain size modes were calculated and reported in volume percent.
