Abstract:
This dataset presents data of nitrogen isotopic composition of coral (Porites) skeleton-bound organic matter and oxygen isotopes form coral cores collected on the reef flat and atoll rim of Surprise Island in the D'entrecasteaux Reefs, the IGUANE cruise (2019; doi:10.17600/18000897). The corals on the reef flat grew in proximity to a seabird breading site and are exposed to seabird-derived nutrients.
