Abstract:
This dataset contains volumetric low-field magnetic susceptibility measurements obtained from Plio–Pleistocene hemipelagic sediment samples recovered at IODP Site U1463C on the Northwest Shelf of Australia during Expedition 356. Measurements were performed on discrete 8 cm³ paleomagnetic cube samples collected at regular depth intervals. Magnetic susceptibility is reported as a proxy for variations in magnetic mineral concentration within the sedimentary sequence. Data are provided with corresponding depth and age information.
