Abstract:
Magnetic susceptibility data from two South Pacific Convergence Zone sediment cores collected from a freshwater lake on Tetepare Island in Solomon Island: Tetepare_SBARUC2 and Tetepare_SBARUC3. To achieve the most complete age model for interpreting the hydrogen isotope composition of the dinoflagellate biomarker dinosterol from Barora Pond, plant macrofossils were obtained and dated from these two parallel cores; the cores were aligned using magnetic susceptibility scans.
