Daily mean discharge measurements from Neu Darchau gauging station (Elbe-km 536.4), provided hydrological information for calculating alkalinity transport potential. This flow discharge data of Neu Darchau (station number: 6340110) was downloaded from the Global Runoff Data Centre (https://grdc.bafg.de/).
