Abstract:

Dissolved and particulate metal concentrations in the marine ice layer of an ice core (B13) collected from the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf during sampling campaign (FRISP 1992, Filchner-Ronne-Ice-Shelf-Project) were measured at AWI between 2022 and 2023. Melted ice were filtered using 0.2 μm PES filters. Dissolved samples were preconcentrated using seaFast and measured using ICP-MS, whereas particulate samples were measured ICP-OES.
