Comment:
January average paleotemperatures were reconstructed by the oxygen isotope composition of the ice wedge (δ¹⁸OIW) following Vasil'chuk, 2016, with additions. January average air temperatures were calculated using the formula from Vasil'chuk, 1991. Stable isotope analyses were made at the isotope laboratory of the Geographical Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University on a Finnigan Delta-V mass spectrometer with the standard gas-bench option (Prof. Yu. Vasil'chuk and Dr. N.Budantseva) and at the Tallinn Institute of Geology.
