Abstract:
Estimated gains and losses and net change of mangrove carbon stocks (in Tg C) for countries with mangrove cover to the year 2100 under sea level projections of global climate change scenario Representative Concentration Pathways 4.5 and 8.5. Estimates were based on the models of Schuerch et al. 2018, doi:10.1038/s41586-018-0476-5 (change in mangrove cover), Sanderman et al. 2018, doi:10.1088/1748-9326/aabe1c (sediment carbon to 1 m sediment depth) and Simard et al. 2019, doi:10.1038/s41561-018-0279-1 (aboveground biomass of mangroves).
