Current measurements with Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (LADCP) on seven repeat stations along a tidal beam south of the Azores. Each station was occupied for 36 to 48h (10-16 casts) to resolve semidiurnal tides and inertial oscillations. Poseidon cruise Pos516 is part of TRR181 'Energy fluxes in atmosphere and ocean'.
