Abstract:
We measured the bulk parameters (TOC, δ13Corg values and grain size) and, terrestrial and marine biomarkers contents in surface sediments of 14 sites from different tidal zones along China coast during both wet season and dry season. To quantitatively distinguish the OC contribution of marine and terrestrial sources, we used binary mixing model based on δ13Corg, the terrestrial and marine biomarker ratio (TMBR) and the branched isoprenoid tetratether index (BIT).
