Calculation of the local marine reservoir effect (DeltaR = -25 ± 45 years).
Marine model 14C age was reversely calculated using the method of Yu et al. (2010) so that the calibrated age (1Sigma) range of this marine 14C age was equivalent to the 230Th age (2Sigma) range using Marine09 data (Reimer et al. 2009), DeltaR = 0 and CALIB v 6.0.1 program (http://radiocarbon.pa.qub.ac.uk/calib/).
DeltaR was calculated using equation: DeltaR(t) = Measured 14C age (t) ± Model 14C (Marine09) age (t). The associated 1Sigma uncertainty is defined as:(Sigma**2Measured + sigma**2 Model)**1/2.
