This updated age model for ODP Site 1233 is based on the age model of Kaiser et al. 2005 (doi:10.1029/2005PA001146), derived from correlation with core GeoB 3313-1, mixed planktonic 14C ages from Lamy et al. 2004 (DOI: 10.1126/science.1097863) and correlation with Byrd. The update applies the MARINE13 calibration and regional reservoir corrections based on Siani et al. 2013 (DOI: 10.1038/ncomms3758).

4Age, datedAge datedkaMix, Alan Cas reported by Kaiser et al. 2005. from 0 - 8.86m ages are by correlation with GeoB 3313-1. From 10.55 - 64.81m, ages are radiocarbon ages corrected using CALPAL January 2004 and a constant reservoir age of 400 years. From 67.8m and greater, ages are by SST correlation with Byrd.
