Comment:
The climate-data have been generated in the project GLUES with the Planet Simulator (http://www.mi.uni-hamburg.de/Planet-Simul.216.0.html), a GCM of intermediate complexity. The model code is an open and freely available and can be downloaded at http://www.mi.uni-hamburg.de/Theoretische-Meteorologie.6.0.html, for the model manual and guide see Lunkeit et al., 2007.
Provided are the required 50-year means of a transient Holocene simulation from 0 to 11kyr BP with Planet Simulator (T21,5L) coupled to the LSG-ocean (3.5 x 3.5 °, L22), with prescribed orbital (Milankovitch) and CO2-forcing (from Taylor Dome) on an annual basis.
- The 50-year means were calculated from monthly, then yearly means (date fixed to the 30th June).
- Data are global means.
- Year „0" is equal to 1950, year „10999“ is equal to 10999 BP.
- The date of the year (e.g. „0049“, „0099“ and so forth) is indicating the mean of the previous 50 years, i.e. 0-49, 50-99 and so forth).
Model data are from sub-project GLUES (Global Land Use and Technological Evolution Simulations on New Paleoclimate data: Quantified impact of Holocene climate change on land use, regional agrarianisation and anthropogenic deforestation with feedback, see: hdl:10013/epic.35233.d001).
