Comment:
AGE follows the GICC05 time scale. To estimate changes of surface and thermocline water structure during MIS 3, we used paired G. ruber and P. obliquiloculata Mg/Ca. For convenience, temperature derived from G. ruber was named 'SST' and P. obliquiloculata Mg/Ca was named 'upper thermocline'.
