The completion of the Dome C core was delayed when the first drilling became stuck at 788 m in 1999 (EDC96).
Comment:
Sea salt Na+ and nss Ca2+ data from the EPICA Dome C (EDC) ice core over the last 150000 yr in 1 m resolution (revised version). Data has been calculated from raw data as described in the manuscript. Negative concentrations after correcting for crustal sodium and sea salt calcium, respectively, have been replaced by zeros. Missing values occur due to sample loss, bad core quality or contamination during sample preparation.
