The instrument was deployed and recovered aboard R/V Rachel Carson as part of the SeismoSands project. This dataset contains temperature records for 14 December 2024, 25 February 2025 and 2 April 2025, when three turbidity currents were detected in the canyon. Measurements are provided as temperature values in degrees Celsius sampled at 1 Hz. Each record covers a full day, with all timestamps expressed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The temperature records provide context for interpreting the accompanying seismic and hydroacoustic observations. A station metadata table provides the station coordinates, water depth, deployment period and instrument information.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationPoint><pointLongitude>-121.884259</pointLongitude><pointLatitude>36.793713</pointLatitude></geoLocationPoint></geoLocation></geoLocations></resource>
