Data were acquired between 18 August and 03 October 2025. The PARASOUND system was operated continuously to acoustically image the shallow subsurface and sedimentary structures beneath the seafloor along the cruise track. However, the PARASOUND system was temporarily deactivated during OBS recovery work and geological station work, resulting in minor gaps in the otherwise continuous record. The primary low frequency (PLF) of the PARASOUND system onboard RV SONNE is fixed at 18.5 kHz, resulting in the distribution of energy within a 4.5° wide beam. The primary high frequency (PHF) and secondary low frequency (SLF) can be varied between 18 and 24 kHz, and 0.5 and 7.0 kHz, respectively. We operated the system with a full resolution, rectangular shaped and continuous wave pulse (length 0.25 ms) with a maximum transmission voltage of 160 V. The PHF was set to 18 kHz, SHF to 40 kHz, and SLF to 4 kHz, all with a band width of 4.049 kHz. This resulted in a pulse resolution of 0.188 m at water velocity for each of PHF, SHF and SLF. Both SLF and PHF were stored as *.ps3, and *.sgy formatted files about every 200 minutes. The acquired sub-bottom profiler data were written as ASD, PS3 and SGY files. <br/>The dataset comprises the complete raw sediment echosounder record collected during SO314 and is provided without further scientific interpretation or post-processing.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationBox><westBoundLongitude>-132.843989</westBoundLongitude><eastBoundLongitude>-110.923598</eastBoundLongitude><southBoundLatitude>-17.561197</southBoundLatitude><northBoundLatitude>-13.82546</northBoundLatitude></geoLocationBox></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>European Research Council</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100000781</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://doi.org/10.3030/101071713">101071713</awardNumber><awardTitle>T-SECTOR Testing Solid Earth Climate connections Through mid Ocean Ridge time series</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
