This data set contains measurements of meteorological and soil variables recorded half-hourly at the up-land forested site of the moisture gradient. Measurements include air temperature and humidity, wind speed, radiation components, precipitation and snow properties, as well as depth profiles of soil temperatures and soil water content. Details on the soil and meteorological station can be found here: https://dashboard.awi.de/?dashboard=10769. The data was collected to characterize weather and soil conditions and identify environmental drivers of CO2, CH4, and N2O fluxes at the upland forested site and the intermediate site of the moisture gradient. Meteorological data for the open bog site was obtained from a weather station located in 1 km distance at Siikaneva fen (SMEAR II Siikaneva 1 wetland; https://smear.avaa.csc.fi/download). ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.995282"!
