Abstract:
This dataset contains zircon U-Pb age data from a tuff sample (KRP072) collected at the Kawaruppu section, Nemuro Group, Hokkaido, Japan. The sample derives from the Upper Cretaceous-lower Paleogene succession investigated for stratigraphic assessment of the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary interval. Zircon U-Pb analyses were performed by chemical abrasion-isotope dilution-thermal ionization mass spectrometry (CA-ID-TIMS) at Boise State University (BSU) Isotope Geology Laboratory.
