In preparation for the deep drilling of the Beyond Epica Oldest Ice deep ice core, surface cores were drilled at Little Dome C drilling site to characterise how the climate signal is recorded in the firn. The Subglacior-LDC firn core (75°30.752 S, 122°47.338 E) was drilled in January 2018. We present the isotopic profile of the water in this ice core over a 30-metre section, based on discrete measurements carried out at the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Sciences (Saclay, France). Further data on Subglacior-LDC have been published by Gautier et al. (2021) and are available here: https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.932490 ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.993902"!
