MERIAN. The EM712 was deployed selectively in shallow waters (40–200 m) of the Nova Scotian continental shelf. It captured high-resolution bathymetry and backscatter data, also using equidistant beam spacing and motion-corrected beamforming. The EM712 datasets enable detailed mapping of shallow sedimentary structures and pockmark distributions, complementing EM122 observations.
