MERIAN. The EM122, a deep-water hull-mounted system, provided continuous coverage of the working area down to full ocean depths. It recorded seafloor bathymetry, water-column imaging, and backscatter, with beamforming corrected for vessel motion and sound velocity variations in the water column. Data were acquired in equidistant mode and stored in raw *.wcd format using the Kongsberg Seafloor Information System (SIS).
