Data are presented for the composition of pore waters and surface sediments retrieved at 5 different stations during a cruise with RV 'Professor Albrecht Penck' in September 2009, within the Puck Bay, southern Baltic Sea. Sediment cores were obtained using a multicoring device, porewater retrieved using rhizons, and the composition later analyzed in the laboratory. Investigations were made to find out, if fresh submarine groundwater discharge is observed in the Puck Bay, and impacts pore water composition besides early diagenesis. ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.992027"!
