DNA from gravity core sediments was extracted in the NORCE ancient DNA laboratory using the DNeasy PowerMax Soil Kit (Qiagen). Primers targeting the ITS1 region of P. glacialis were used in ddPCR reactions to determine gene copies per g of sediment.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationPoint><pointLongitude>2.371095542</pointLongitude><pointLatitude>81.21992801</pointLatitude></geoLocationPoint></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>European Research Council</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100000781</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="doi:10.3030/101118519">101118519</awardNumber><awardTitle>Into the Blue - Resolving past Arctic greenhouse climate (i2B)</awardTitle></fundingReference><fundingReference><funderName>Horizon 2020</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100007601</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="doi:10.3030/818449">818449</awardNumber><awardTitle>Genetic information for Arctic sea ice study</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
