Samples were freeze-dried and weight, thereafter, samples were wet and dry sieved over a &gt;63 µm and 125 µm mesh, respectively. For each fraction the weight was determined and is provided as grain-size weight and % for each analysed sample. Benthic foraminifera were picked from sample splits of each grain-size fraction. Extrapolated to 100%, counts on the grain-size fraction were combined to create a data set &gt;63 µm. Planktonic foraminifera abundances are provided for the size fraction &gt;125 µm . This table shows the absolute abundances of species per gramm dry weight and their relative abundances.
