<md:title>Microseismicity in the period 2019-12 - 2020-08 at the Rodriguez Triple Junction in the Indian Ocean (MSEED waveform files)</md:title>

<md:abstract>Data of 15 Ocean-bottom seismometers, which were deployed in the area of the Rodriguez Triple Junction, nine (OBS01-OBS07, OBS09-OBS10) at an average distance of ~16 km around the southernmost segment of the Central Indian Ridge (CIR) and another 6 (OBS11-16) in a dense spacing of ~1.9 km at the Kairei hydrothermal vent field. Water depths range from about 2.3 km - 3.9 km. The nine CIR-stations acquired data from 19.12.2019 until the 9.08.2020. The Kairei-stations recorded data from 25.12.2019 until 10.08.2020. All stations recorded with a sampling frequency of 250 Hz using a 6d6 data logger. Time corrections for sensor drift were applied approximating both a linear and non-linear component. While the stations OBS03, OBS06, OBS07 were equipped with 4.5 Hz geophones, all other stations measured the vertical and horizontal components of the seismic wavefield using broad-band seismometers (Trilium Compact 120s). All stations were also equipped with a hydrophone (HTI-04) to measure the pressure wavefield in the water column.</md:abstract>
