This data was collected as part of the PUPCYCLE II cruise, which took place in the California Upwelling system (CalUS) (38-44°N, and 121-126°W from May 28, 2023 to June 12, 2023). Underway measurements were calibrated using discrete dissolved gas samples (doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.987238). The goal of the study was to understand controls on the biogeochemical cycling of gases in the CalUS and quantify sea-air fluxes of the gases, particularly the understudied gas of CH4 and N2O.
