We performed towed horizontal transects of 13-15 min at distinct depths between 0 and 1100 m water depth for imaging, and collected environmental data using an acoustic Doppler current profiler (Teledyne RDI WorkHose Broadband ADCP, 1200 kHz) , which was mounted on XOFOS. This dataset contains the recorded current velocities from bin 6 (ca. 1000.25 mm distance from XOFOS, recording every 10 seconds) for the transects.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationBox><westBoundLongitude>-24.30718</westBoundLongitude><eastBoundLongitude>-20.01813</eastBoundLongitude><southBoundLatitude>17.86577</southBoundLatitude><northBoundLatitude>18.2503</northBoundLatitude></geoLocationBox></geoLocation><geoLocation><geoLocationPlace>North Atlantic Ocean</geoLocationPlace></geoLocation></geoLocations></resource>
