A total of eight casts were conducted, each reaching a target depth of 1000 meters. However, due to an instrument malfunction at station PS135/1_4-1, no data were recorded for that cast. The final dataset includes raw sound velocity data from seven successful casts in both binary (*.BIN) and ASCII (*.000) file formats. The data were used for calibrating acoustic systems used during the cruise.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationBox><westBoundLongitude>-56.54827799999998</westBoundLongitude><eastBoundLongitude>-24.94069300000001</eastBoundLongitude><southBoundLatitude>-45.114533</southBoundLatitude><northBoundLatitude>11.552176</northBoundLatitude></geoLocationBox></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100003207</funderIdentifier><awardNumber>AWI_PS135_01</awardNumber><awardTitle>Bathymetry</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
