In the 2005/06 Antarctic field season, a Sea-Bird SBE37SM-RS232 conductivity-temperature-depth (CTD) recorder was deployed through a hot-water-drill hole approximately 1-3 km from the ice shelf front. The sensor was placed about midway in the water column below the ice shelf, with a cabled connection for data transfer and power supply to the surface. This dataset is an updated version of Kindermann (2011, doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.770298), containing the complete timeseries throughout the entire lifetime of the observatory before it was lost through calving of the ice front.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationPoint><pointLongitude>-8.23</pointLongitude><pointLatitude>-70.523</pointLatitude></geoLocationPoint></geoLocation><geoLocation><geoLocationPlace>Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica</geoLocationPlace></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100003207</funderIdentifier><awardNumber>ANT-2021_MIMO-EIS</awardNumber><awardTitle>MIMO-EIS</awardTitle></fundingReference><fundingReference><funderName>The Research Council of Norway</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100005416</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://prosjektbanken.forskningsradet.no/en/project/FORISS/332635">332635</awardNumber><awardTitle>Centre for ice, Cryosphere, Carbon and Climate (iC3)</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
