laser ablation inductively coupled plasma (LA-ICP-MS). The coral cross-sections exhibit tree ring-like concentric growth bands, prompting the selection of two growth directions for testing in samples SY067-7 and SY268-10 to examine the reproducibility of elemental distribution across different growth axes.
