Abstract:
Data set includes porewater methane concentrations of deep sea sediments, which were recovered along the Gloria Fault lines by gravity coring (GC) and multi coring (TVMUC) during Meteor cruise M162 (Hensen et al., 2020). Dissolved methane concentrations released from sampled sediment/porewater were evaluated concerning possible fluid/gas escape along fault structures.
