The expedition took place during 16.10.1998 - 20.11.1998 from Wellington (New Zealand) to Hobart (Australia) in the Pacific. The aim of SO136 TASQWA aims to reconstruct the paleoceanography of the Southern Tasman Sea and the SW Pacific sector of the southern Ocean during the last 125 000 years. A constant sound velocity of 1500m/s has been assumed during data acquisition. Please see environmental data and the cruise report for details. The data are unprocessed and can therefore contain incorrect depth measurements (artifacts) if not further processed. Note that refraction errors may occur when no proper SVP is applied. Data acquisition was done by GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research, provision of the data is supported by the DAM Underway Project and published according to the FAIR principles.</description><description descriptionType="TechnicalInfo">These data should not be used for navigational purposes.<br/>Data publishing was realised by Mia Schumacher, GEOMAR.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationBox><westBoundLongitude>147.5205078</westBoundLongitude><eastBoundLongitude>176.8883972</eastBoundLongitude><southBoundLatitude>-56.764595</southBoundLatitude><northBoundLatitude>-40.3082122</northBoundLatitude></geoLocationBox></geoLocation></geoLocations></resource>
