Here we present these three sedimentological records together with the correctly measured, but numerically rather erratic magnetic susceptibility record of the IRD &gt; 1mm fraction. The spiky character of sieved IRD susceptibility displays the stochastic nature of large IRD particle deposition. Systematic variations in IRD coarseness (calculated as ratio of IRD &gt; 1mm and IRD &gt;125µm) and bulk sediment porosity suggest considerable grain size variability of the glaciomarine Sediment fraction, while bulk particle density is almost constant at values of 2.7-2.8 g/cm³.</description><description descriptionType="TechnicalInfo">Corresponds to Figure 3.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationPoint><pointLongitude>-49.234833333333</pointLongitude><pointLatitude>42.8395</pointLatitude></geoLocationPoint></geoLocation><geoLocation><geoLocationPlace>SE Grand Banks Slope</geoLocationPlace></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>German Research Foundation</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100001659</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://gepris.dfg.de/project/221211316">221211316</awardNumber><awardTitle>GRK/IRTG 1904: ArcTrain - Processes and impacts of climate change in the North Atlantic Ocean and the Canadian Arctic</awardTitle></fundingReference><fundingReference><funderName>Petroleum Technology Development Fund</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100009614</funderIdentifier><awardNumber>Shettima Bukar</awardNumber><awardTitle>Overseas postgraduate scholarship to Shettima Bukar</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
