SS values were analyzed in samples from the intervals of the last two glacial terminations and interglacials. Particle size measurements were conducted using a CILAS 1094 particle analyzer via laser diffraction on carbonate- and organic matter-free samples. SS was determined as the mean of the size range 10-63 μm.
