Abstract:
This dataset contain the planktonic foraminifera oxygen and carbon isotope records along the upper ~83.58 m on-slice sediment sequence of IODP Site 363-U1489 (02°07.19′N, 141°01.67′E; 3421 m water depth) over the last 4 Ma. The sampling interval is about 5 cm, approximately equivalent to a time-resolution of ~2-3 ka. This dataset contains sable isotope records of mixed-layer dwelling species Globigerinoides ruber (white senso stricto) and Trilobatus sacculifer (without a sac-like final chamber) and upper-thermocline dwelling species Pulleniatina obliquiloculata.
