The coral colony fragment was scanned by a Toshiba Aquilion 64 computer tomograph (CT) at the hospital Klinikum Bremen-Mitte with an x-ray source voltage of 120 kV and a current of 600 mA. The CT image stack has a resolution of 0.35 mm in x-direction and y-direction and 0.5 mm resolution in z-direction (0.3 mm reconstruction unit). Images were reconstructed using Toshiba's patented helical cone beam reconstruction technique (TCOT) and are provided in DICOM-format.<br/><br/>This dataset contains the CT raw data (GeoB12747-1_RawData), the polyp-cavity instance segmentation (GeoB12747-1_cavities) and calices segmentation (GeoB12747-1_calices; given as unique label values) of the polyp-cavity instance segmentation.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationPoint><pointLongitude>9.3793</pointLongitude><pointLatitude>63.6076</pointLatitude></geoLocationPoint></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>Federal Ministry of Education and Research</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100002347</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://foerderportal.bund.de/foekat/jsp/SucheAction.do?actionMode=view&amp;fkz=03F0655A">03F0655A</awardNumber><awardTitle>Biological Impacts of Ocean Acidification / BIOACID II</awardTitle></fundingReference><fundingReference><funderName>German Research Foundation</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100001659</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://gepris.dfg.de/project/490665120">Ba5042/6-1; Ti706/6-1; project 490665120</awardNumber><awardTitle>CTcoral – CyberTaxonomische Klassifizierung und morphologische Charakterisierung von Kaltwasserkorallen</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
