<Summary>Here we present a new astronomically tuned age model for the late Pliocene section of ODP site 883. The astronomically tuned age model was developed by correlation of benthic foraminiferal δ18O (3000-3385 Ka) to the δ18O probabilistic stack and the 883 GRAPE WBD composite (2.841-3.0 Ma &amp; 3.385-3.465 Ma) to the nearby ODP 882 carbonate weight %, where the age model is based on tuning GRAPE WBD to calculated solar insolation. ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.967343"!</Summary>
